Alastair Neil Duncan is a British actor, he was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK in 1958. He’s been around acting since the early 80’s, but his talent might be best portrayed in his work as voice actor which includes T.V shows, movies, video games and commercials.
He was also married to Anna Gunn who is best known for her roles as Martha Bullock, the sweet-tempered wife of Deadwood sheriff Seth Bullock on the HBO drama and Skyler White on the soon to be over Breaking Bad. During his marriage to the now, 45-year-old actress from Santa Fe, New Mexico he fathered two girls; Emma who was born in 2001 and Eila Rose, born 2006 in Los Angeles, weighing in at 7 lbs., 1 oz., and measured 19 1/2 inches long.
The couple unfortunately took separate ways, and divorced in 2009. Highlights of Duncan’s roles includes the T.V film The Hounds of the Baskervilles and his breakout role in Scottish T.V was as side-kick DS Peter Livingstone to Mark McManus’s Taggart.
In 2000 he started doing voiceover work, you might have “heard” him on 2004 “The Batman” as Alfred Pennyworth, or in vide games such as the 2003 Legacy of Kain: Defiance as Mortanius, 2005 X-Men Legends 2: Rise Of Apocalypse as Bastion, 2005 Killer 7 as Curtis Blackburn, 2006 Tom Raider: Legend as Kent, 2007 Mass Effect as Councilor Sparatus, 2012 Starhawk as Outcasts and more recently 2013 Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance as Steven Armstrong.
Duncan is sometimes referred to as a Realtor but he either went to school for it and ditched it for acting or is just another Alastair Duncan. He is also one of the many actors who made the casting for the main role in the hit series Highlander and although he did not get the role he did appeared as a guest in the fifth season. That’s all we got on the talented Scottish.
Below you can see him on another of his key roles, the 1992 science fiction film “Split Second”
