Jeffrey Wayne Richmond, 52, is the equally successful husband of Hollywood comedian, writer and producer, known for her work on the NBC sketch comedy series SNL, the critically acclaimed NBC comedy series 30 Rock-which she created and starred in- and many movies that have made us crack up!
They seem to be the perfect match; Jeffrey who was born January 7, 1961 in Garrettsville, OH is also an actor, T.V producer and composer! The couple’s chemistry has also been translated to their work together, they not only are a talented husband and wife but also know how to work as a team; Jeffrey and Tina have worked together in 30 Rock he directed, produced and composed the music for some of the sitcom’s episodes.
The 5′ 5″ man met his Sarah Palin impressionist wife back in 1975 while he was the director with Chicago’s famed “Second City”, and she was studying there. His shortness did not come in the way of the couple getting together and they tied the knot in 2001. They became parents of two girls; first daughter Alice was born September 10, 2005 in New York and second daughter Penelope Athena Richmond, was born on August 10, 2011.
Jeff has gone through some different looks of his own, the pictures show him always elegant at his wife’s side but his longer hair and bear sometimes makes him look a little older than necessary don’t you think! It seems over the years they exchanged their glasses too!
He attended both high school and university in his native Ohio, the Kent University graduate co-authored several musicals while studying there in the late 1980s. His acting includes roles as an extra in 30 Rock or his recurring role on Late Night with Conan O’Brien as the short character of “Russian Hat Guy”. He left his composing gig at SNL to composed for his wife’s 30 Rock back in 2006.
Some of his other work as director includes the revue, “Promise Keepers, Losers Weepers”, at the Second City Theatre in Chicago in 1998 and the following year the revue, “The Revelation Will Not Be Televised”
They certainly make a great duo! Any thoughts on the comedian power couple? Cause we definitely like them!
