You may have heard of a show called Real Housewives of New York. Well, now there’s a new girl in town and her name is Kristen Taekman.
Here are a few things we know about her. Kristen Carroll was born in Farmington, Connecticut, and went to school at St. Paul Catholic High School in Bristol Conn. She graduated a year ahead at the age of sixteen, left her home and moved to Paris to pursue a modeling career. She was there for a few years and traveled to different countries. When she returned she started a business, 2nd Street Press, which sells, believe it or not, greeting cards storage containers and memory boxes.
On October 21, 2005, she married Josh Taekman founder of EBoost and Buzztone. She and Josh have two beautiful children, son Cash born in June of 2008, and daughter Kingsley born on January 23, 2012. Josh used to be the VP of marketing for Diddy’s Bad Boy Entertainment. They live in Manhattan, New York City now, although for a time they lived in Venice, Ca., where both their businesses started to take off.
She is friends with Brandi Glanville, which might be how she connected to the Real Housewives franchise. Another possibility is that Heather Thomson used to work with Diddy too. Whatever the reason, she’s on and she will be a welcome addition as she seems to be a pretty regular person. It will be interesting to see how the rest of the group take to her and the chemistry they develop.
