Actress and model Mischa Barton, whom you known from her roles as Marissa Cooper in the O.C, has been casted in season 22 of Dancing with the Stars. The 30-year-old has been partnered with Artem Chigvintsev.
Mischa who has been performing since she was a kid, landed major box office pictures such as the romantic comedy, Notting Hill and how could we forget her from, psychological thriller, The Sixth Sense. But Mischa was catapulted to fame by portraying Marissa Cooper in the O.C., for which she was awarded two teen choice awards. Following the success of the O.C. she returned to T.V in the CW series, The Beautiful Life.
Mischa is the middle daughter of English former foreign exchange broker Paul and Irish homemaker and photographer, Nuala. Her older sister is Zoe Barton –a barrister and younger sister is, Hania –also an actress. Mischa Barton graduated frоm thе Professional Children’s School in Manhattan in 2004, аnd tооk a summer course called Acting Shakespeare аt Thе Royal Academy оf Dramatic Art in London in 2006. She briefly attended St. Paul’s Girls’ School in Hammersmith before her father’s job moved the family to N.Y.
Whether for her work or personal life –which has included stints with her weight and DUI arrest –Barton has stayed in the public eye over the years. Her undeniable looks have got the attention of many fellow entertainers–however she is yet to be married.
Regardless, is sure to say, she’s had her fare share of fun with the fellas. In the past, Barton was romantically linked to Cisco Adler, Taylor Locke, Jamie Dornan, Brett Simon and Brandon Davis (grandson of Marvin Davis).
In mid-2007, she briefly dated magician Brandon Silverfield and even became his ‘assistant’ in a number of appearances in his Las Vegas magic show. By late 2008, reports surfaced that she was dating The Kooks frontman, Luke Pritchard.
While Pritchard was open about their relationship, Mischa Barton only confirmed the two were an item –through a blog post –after the pair split in March 2009. Later in 2009 she was linked to both James Regan and Leo Wyndham. 2010 was the year of musician Ali Love. Two years later in 2012, she and Sebastian Knapp had a thing.
Most recently in 2014, she dated Alan Cappelli Goetz. Her most recent rendezvous was with Italian movie producer Andrea lervolino, with whom she split from in July 2015.
