Blonde MMA fighter, Paige Vanzant is temporarily hanging the gloves to put on some sexy and shiny outfits to appear in the current season of Dancing with the Stars. We know Vanzant as a UFC fighter currently competing in the strawweight division.
Lovely Paige began training in 2009 and has been a pro since 2012. She fell in love with MMA in her very first class at the Lions Den with Ken Shamrock. She holds the Ninth degree Bad Ass title and is currently ranked #8 in the UFC Strawweight division.
But Paige is not only into fiercely kicking your butt, she is also a model, actress and dancer. The Oregon native has been paired up with professional dance partner Mark Ballas and seem to be one of the favorite couples to take the Mirrorball trophy home! Below you can read:

1. Her father is who started her into fighting
Her dad was a high school wrestler and a huge fan of the UFC and MMA. One day in 2009, he asked her to try a class with him.
2. She attended a school where some of the other students brought knives and guns
According to her UFC page, she reveals, she figured it was best to know how to protect herself somehow.
3. Fighting in the UFC is her dream come true
She says that she knew she would make it big, just didn’t know how.
4. Paige did great at her UFC debut
The blonde made quite a splash at her UFC debut, winning fight of the night honors.
5. Paige Vanzant is also known as “12 Gauge”
Her dad gave her the nickname because she grew up hunting and in the country.
6. She goes to college
Paige is currently working towards her business degree
7. She has been romantically linked to other MMA fighters
She was said to be dating Sinjen Smith, who is also a professional MMA fighter signed with Bellator. Apparently, she then moved on to Cody Garbrandt and most recently to sexy MMA fighter, Sage Northcutt.
8. So far, she has been beaten twice
Paige first lost to Tecia Torres at Invicta FC 4: Esparza vs. Hyatt. She also lost in her last fight to Rose Namajunas, back in December.
9. Paige is one of the youngest female fighters
She is the second youngest female fighter currently in the UFC, and third youngest overall.
10. She has a dancing background
As the daughter of dance studio owners, Paige was brought up dancing ballet,jazz, and hip hop for over 13 years.
