Robb Derringer
Robb Derringer was until recently, the actor in his way to become the husband of dancer and DWTS judge, Carrie Ann Inaba.
The couple who announced their engagement in December 2016, apparently had second thoughts and have decided to call it quits.
This is the second time Inaba calls off an engagement. She and eHarmony boyfriend Jesse Sloan got engaged in 2011 after he popped the question during an episode of Live with Regis and Kelly. In September of the following year, it was announced that Inaba and Sloan had amicably ended their engagement.
The dancer turned judge has also been romantically linked to professional dancer, Artem Chigvintsev. The two dated for two years, ending their romance in 2008.
Robbie Warren Derringer was born July 6, 1967 in Palo Alto, California. The actor trained at the Foothill Theatre Conservatory in Los Altos, California before attending UCLA’s Theater, Film and Television acting program. After graduation he joined the dance troupe Diavolo Dance Theatre before starting his professional acting career. He is also a licensed private pilot.
For over two decades, the hunky actor has worked extensively in television and feature film. According to his website, he’s also worked with companies such as Pacific Resident Theatre, The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble, The Whitefire Theatre and The New American Theatre, with leading performances in plays such as The Time Of Your Life, Of Mice And Men, Othello, The Trip Back Down, The Way You Look Tonight, Prelude To A Kiss and The Blue Dahlia.
He describes himself as ‘avid poet, pilot, motorcyclist, surfer and outdoors-man.’
Derringer originated the role of Kyle Sloane on “General Hospital” in November 2014 but was quickly recast with Grayson McCouch. Derringer stepped back into the role in September 2015.
