Mischa who has been performing since she was a kid, landed major box office pictures such as the romantic comedy, Notting Hill<\/a>\u00a0 and how could we forget her from,\u00a0 psychological thriller, The Sixth Sense<\/a>. But Mischa was catapulted to fame by portraying Marissa Cooper in the O.C., for which she was awarded two teen choice awards. Following the success of the O.C. she returned to T.V in the CW series, The Beautiful Life.<\/p>\n

Mischa is the middle daughter<\/a> of English former foreign exchange broker Paul and Irish homemaker and photographer, Nuala. Her older sister is Zoe Barton \u2013a barrister and younger sister is, Hania \u2013also an actress. Mischa Barton graduated fr\u043em th\u0435 Professional Children\u2019s School in Manhattan in 2004, \u0430nd t\u043e\u043ek a summer course called Acting Shakespeare \u0430t Th\u0435 Royal Academy \u043ef Dramatic Art<\/a> in London in 2006. She briefly attended St. Paul\u2019s Girls\u2019 School in Hammersmith before her father\u2019s job moved the family to N.Y.<\/p>\n
