Joe Scarborough had been a part of the Republican party, but when it supported Donald Trump’s presidency, he parted ways from the party and said that he would never rejoin it.

Joe Scarborough referred to Donald Trump as “fascist”. The reason behind this is that Trump has been involved in violent acts which also include arresting his political opponents. He had been against Trump because he forcefully made Article III a part of the law as it gave him the power to do whatever he wishes as a president.

Joe Scarborough and Donald Trump

Wondering what caused the relationship between Trump and Joe to reach the lowest ebb? Why did Joe leave the party as soon as it favored Trump though they had been friends earlier?

The event that created a disparity between Joe and Trump dates back to 2001. Trump had tried to involve Joe in the accidental death of a staffer who had been working for Joe. Trump wanted his people to reach the bottom line of the incident and to find out the reason for the woman’s death.

What happened was Kalustis, the service coordinator was found dead in her office beside her table. An autopsy was done which revealed that she had a problem with the valves of her heart. Regardless of what Trump had wanted, investigations were not carried out again as Joe had been in Florida at that time and there stood no other suspects. Scarborough tweeted sarcastically about the style of president Trump as; prosecuting the one who had nothing to do with the case. He added about the mutuality found in autocrats in this type of political affair.

Well, the two had been in a feud for quite a long time now. Brzezinski has been a co-host alongside Joe and Trump used disgraceful remarks against her. In return, Scarborough kept on insulting Trump each time and even declared that the then-president had early onset dementia. Since then he has been frequently criticizing the Republicans. Joe and Brzezinski also said that they had noticed a change in Trump’s attitude during his presidential years.
